Asterix Fire & Rescue operates a dedicated 24/7 Dispatch & Coordination Centre for emergency reporting, response activation and incident coordination.
Every reported incident is assessed, logged and coordinated according to the information available, incident severity, operational resources and responder safety.
Where additional resources are required, Asterix assists with the activation and coordination of relevant emergency services and response partners.
Who We Are
Asterix works alongside relevant Fire Services, EMS, SAPS, Traffic Services, Disaster Management and recognised response partners where additional resources or statutory services are required. Where an incident falls under statutory or established incident command, Asterix operates within the applicable command structure.
